A well-established fashion brand was losing sales due to an outdated, slow-loading Shopify store. The mobile experience was poor — 70% of their traffic came from mobile devices, but the checkout abandonment rate was over 80%. Their existing theme was cluttered, not aligned with their premium brand identity, and difficult to navigate.
They needed a complete redesign that would reflect their brand's modern aesthetic, work flawlessly on mobile, and drive higher conversions.
My Approach
Discovery & UX Audit
Analyzed user behavior data, identified friction points in the customer journey, and reviewed competitor stores. Created user personas and customer journey maps.
Design & Prototyping
Designed a clean, minimal interface in Figma with focus on product imagery, clear CTAs, and streamlined navigation. Interactive prototype tested with real users.
Custom Theme Development
Built a custom Shopify theme using Liquid, with React-powered product quick-view, mega menu, and an optimized cart drawer. Mobile-first responsive design.
Optimization & Launch
Performance optimized (image compression, lazy loading, critical CSS), SEO meta tags added, and checkout flow streamlined. Store launched with analytics tracking.
